Our Story

We are living through a digital revolution. Artificial Intelligence has evolved from a simple curiosity into a force that can write poetry, generate photos, and increasingly, mimic the news we read every day. Real vs AI was born out of a simple observation: it is getting harder to tell the difference.

The Spark

We asked ourselves: How do we fix this? Lectures on media literacy are boring. Warnings are ignored. But games? Games are engaging. We realized that the best way to "vaccinate" people against AI hallucinations was to let them play with fire in a safe environment.

Our Mission

Our goal is not to demonize AI. We use these tools every day and marvel at their capabilities. However, we believe that media literacy is the most critical skill of the next decade.

We built this platform to:

• Gamify Skepticism: By turning fact-checking into a high-score chase, we train your brain to pause and analyze before accepting information as truth.
• Highlight the "Tell": AI has patterns—excessive logic, generic phrasing, and a lack of specific "human" chaos. We want to teach you to spot these patterns instinctively.
• Preserve Reality: In a world of infinite generated content, we want to remind people that the truth—no matter how strange "Florida Man" stories get—is still worth finding.

The Future

As AI models like GPT-4, Claude, Gemini and all other models evolve, they will become more convincing. Our mission is to evolve with them. We are constantly updating our database with new "hallucinations" and verified real-world events to keep the challenge fresh.
